Christoff Oosthuysen
The My Balanced Business™ tool was developed by Christoff Oosthuysen, who describes himself as a “business improvement mechanic”. He understands the art of providing owner-managers with the insights and tools needed to shift their businesses into a higher gear. You could also call him a business coach who works with growth-oriented entrepreneurs, or an enterprise development consultant who provides solutions to large companies and government institutions dealing with the small business market.
Christoff is a small business owner himself, having in 1996 – with three other entrepreneurs – launched a small businesses development and media agency known as BusinessOwner&Co. As MD, he developed the business to the point of selling the controlling stake in the publishing unit to a company from the Pearson stable. Thereafter he moved his focus to the tools needed by owner-managers, and business advisers who are battling to help these business owners, to take the right steps towards making their dreams become possible.
The self-assessment test, available on this site, helps business owners to identify the most important elements in their own situations that need attention. These elements might relate to the relationships the business maintains in the competitive outside world; the internal organisation of the business resources; the product or service offered by the business; or the business owners themselves.
